As a self-taught full-stack engineer from Rijeka, Croatia, I've dedicated countless hours to mastering my craft. My professional experience, combined with a drive for continuous learning, has equipped me with a diverse skill set that spans multiple programming languages, frameworks, and tools. I'm passionate about creating user-friendly applications that offer exceptional experiences, and I take pride in my ability to think several steps ahead while remaining agile and adaptable. Beyond coding, I'm an avid reader, a fitness enthusiast, and a lifelong learner who's always eager to explore new horizons.
My academic journey started at an Electrical school and continued into the realm of Economy Informatics in college. However, I soon realized that traditional educational pathways wouldn't quench my thirst for knowledge. This led me to embark on an independent learning adventure that has been both challenging and fulfilling. In the process, I've gained competency in multiple fields within software development.
While I take pride in being a versatile developer, my heart truly lies in frontend development. I'm fascinated by the psychology behind UI/UX and find immense satisfaction in creating user-friendly applications that offer exceptional experiences. The seeds for this passion were sown during my childhood, where my fascination with games was less about playing and more about understanding their engineering aspects. For me, coding is not just a job; it's a form of artistry.
As someone who enjoys both the planning and execution stages of projects, I view myself more as a software architect and creative director than just a developer. My approach is rooted in pragmatism; I prioritize using the right tool for the right job, as opposed to following trends blindly. Beyond coding, I take an active interest in project management, always thinking several steps ahead while remaining agile and adaptable.
The software landscape is ever-evolving, and so am I. Learning is not just a means to an end for me, but a continuous journey that I find deeply rewarding. Whether it's hitting the gym, going for a run, or cooking a healthy meal, I'm always looking for ways to prioritize my health and well-being...but let's be honest, it's hard to resist a good pizza or a burger.😅
